    HT or HP Suffix Code?

A friend just bought a 66 coupe s/n 12,xxx with L79, M21, N40, J50, and others but no a/c. It is well documented with dealer contract, POP and list of all previous owners. The VIN derivitive matches and the engine code is F0I04HT. The Black Book shows HT as 350hp, m/t and HP as 350hp, m/t, p/s. Chevrolet by the numbers shows HT to be 350 hp, m/t with hi lift cam and HP to be 350hp, m/t, hi lift cam, a/c, p/s. All the documentation points to the car being legit although I realize it could be forged. What is the correct suffix code for this car?

Both sources you quote say the same about HT suffix code and that agrees with NCRS '66 Judging Guide (327, L79, 4-Spd). The HP suffix you quote from the Black Book disagrees with the NCRS '66 JG book. The NCRS JG book agrees with Chevy By The Numbers (327, L79, PS, and A/C). Suggests there's a typo (omission) in the Black Book regarding C60 air conditioning....
