I tightened the trailing arm pivot bolts enough to prevent any movement of the shims with the car on its' wheels at normal suspension height. Do I need to tighten them any further to any torque specification?

Re: '67 TRAILING ARM PIVOT BOLTS
They should be torqued to 50 lbs.only, while the car is on the ground. The point is to get the toe in correct FIRST with the right amount of shims, which you should have to lightly tap in, so the pack is tight and they don't fall out, then torque the bolts. PT- Top

Re: '67 TRAILING ARM PIVOT BOLTS
The pivot arm bolt is NOT designed to compress the shims. There is no way to compress the frame uptake with a bolt, if you could it wouldn't provide much of a structural support. The shims should be tightly packed to eliminate any slop.- Top
