    Driveshaft Identification

I need help identifing a driveshaft. The dimensions are as follows. 29.5 inches from ctr of u-joint to ctr of other u-joint. Tube shaft diameter is 2.5 inches.
Driveshaft yoke is 3.625 inches long and 1.5 inches in diameter with 26 teeth.
The driveshaft yoke has the number 2-1469 cast in the end.

    Dave------

The overall dimensions and description that you have provided would lead me to believe that this is driveshaft and yoke applicable to a 1976-79 Corvette with THM-350 transmission or a 1978-79 with M-20 "Muncie" transmission (cast iron case).

To confirm, check the finger diameter of the u-joint (i.e. the end-of-cap to end-of-cap "width" of the u-joint). It should be 4-5/16".
