C-3 A/C Heater Hose Part

I have a '72 base engine with A/C. For some reason the heater hose clip/bracket (PN 3853968) on the front of the A/C compressor is missing. This is the clip that holds the heater hoses away from the belts and the compressor pulley. I have checked the regular parts houses (Zip, Dr. Rebuild, etc.) and they don't stock this item. Where could I get this part. Thanks.

I think that Paragon services this part. I may be mistaken due to NCRS disease, but give them a try.

Yes, Paragon....

has a reproduction of the heater hose support bracket in both SB and BB variations. The SB version is their #1740 part at $22.

Once you get one and attempt to install + route your hoses through it, you'll understand why many discarded their factory original brackets! BW is to mount it to the compressor LOOSELY, on one end only, then wiggle/sniggle the hoses into the support bracket and once everything's in place, tighten the bracket down firmly with both end fasteners....
