C1 CARPET

I am getting to order my interior for my 61. I saw insulation offered for the floor, "Koolmat"it is kind of expensive. Is it worth it? Or should I just go with the carpet with regular backing. Thanks for the help, Joe DeLuca #37862

Use the original type stuff. C1s don't have the heat problems of C2/C3.

You won't need it for the heat but you can use that or other after market foil/padded heat insulators to keep the road noise down. I used the padded heat shielding in on the floor boards and the double foil bubble rap heat insulator as a sound barrier in the doors and really enjoy the quiet ride.
