Cleaning Vinyl Floor Mats

Is there any way to clean yellowed clear vinyl floor mats? Besides replacement, there must be some compound that will soak down and remove the yellowed areas. My mats are only yellowed on the upper part of the driver's mat ("Bowtie" emblem location).

I don't know if this would work but it might be worth a try. I used a cleaner for the rear window in my convertible. It took a lot of the yellow out of the plastic window. It might help with the floor mats. I think it was made by Mother's. Sold at most automotive stores.
