'67 BB STEEL OIL PRESS LINE EXCESS

With the line connected to the gage, I have about 6" excess at the engine connection. What is the correct (original) way of dealing with it, cut it or bend it in a curve to take up the excess?

Do you have the coils bent into the tubing like the AIM suggests at UPC L36 A6?

Steve if you mean the coiled are at the firewall, it came pre-coiled. I'm just not sure exactly what to do with the extra length at the engine, other than to curve it away and back in before attaching it.

Rob, I measured my original oil pressure line. It is 43 inches end to end. I will send a picture of how it is bent to you.
