Where can I find pictures of the C-6? I saw a VERY brief clip of it on TV the other night, and want to see more!

Re: Drop Top?
C6 Vert. will be shown and the Geneva and NY auto shows in the Feb/Mar time frame. Currently GM says C6 coupes will start production in June or July and be available for delivery in late summer early fall - figure September. Many dealers are taking deposts now (most I have heard of are offering MSRP, whatever that turns out to be) and expect to get their first allocations and place orders in April. I expect base prices will be up about 2-3 percent, but since the M6 is now standard instead of A4, a base car with A4 will be up about 4-5 percent.
C6 vert. build will start about 2-4 months after coupe start of production - depends on working out all the bugs. GM says they want to get it right.
Z06 will be announced at next year's Detroit Auto Show as a 2006 model. No word on body style other than it will have a fixed head. Whether that is a fixed head on the current targa coupe or a notchback design like current Z06 is not at all clear. Engine should be up to 6.4L with three valve heads and about 500 HP. Other goodies like bigger wheels/tires, more aggressive suspension, brakes will also be part of the package, and it will probably be a bit lighter than the other models.
Dave Hill says Z06 will be more visually distinguished from the other models, which implies some different body panels. My guess is that wider fenders might be part of the deal to cover up the bigger rubber. On the downside I think I might also be more "distinguished" in price from other models, but it will go like stink and eat Vipers, Ford GT, and most Porsches and Ferraris except the Carrera GT and Enzo, but for the price of those cars you could have a Z06 in every available color, plus a vert. for nice days and a coupe for long distance touring, and have enough left over to buy a summer house somewhere.
