    C-1 Spark Plugs

Just built a 59 270HP engine with Keith Black 10.5 dome pistons and nedd to know what spark plug to use. This will be a judged car so I should stay with AC plugs. Any help, please. Thank You

    Jerry,
The detectable lack of AC plugs will be cause for a deduction on the judging field. I would recommend using an AC 44 or 45 plug. You also need to decide if you want to go the 4 equal ring (earlier) style or the 3 equal and 1 unequal ring (later). Actually in 1959 the original AC plugs had no green rings. Green rings were introduced on AC spark plugs around 1961, but the earlier no green ring style are rarely seen.
