At the risk of getting annoying, I have yet another request for help in my search for dealer who sold my '71. Anyone recall a Chevy dealer in the following areas, back in early '70s, whose name would have started with the letters SH, SI, SK, or SL.

New Jersey: Ridgewood, Hightstown, Metuchen, Caldwell
Pennsylvania: Philadelphia area, Pittsburgh area, Hanover/York, Warriors Mark
Delaware: Camden

There is a man in Somerville NJ who might be able to help you. His name is Henessey or Fenessey.....not sure of spelling....I met him at the Orlando Regional last year or the year before....he owns a Buick dealership and was exhibiting a C1 at Orlando. Maybe the C1 guys can add to this. I'll look for his business card on Monday when I'm back in the office.

Charlie,The Chevy dealer in Ridgewood was Caran Chevrolet which closed and merged with Englewood Buick in the mid 1990's. Metuchen had June Chevrolet which changed hands in the late 1990's and them burned down and is now office condos. Caldwell has Konner Chevrolet which I believe is still in operation.Hope this helps. There was a Matt Slap Chevrolet in Northeast Philly back in that era.
