The 70-72 tech manual references a C13 model for shoulder harness...but seems out of sequence for the early C3 shoulder harness. What's correct model?

Re: 1970-72 Tech Man & Safety Belts
In preparing for an update for the 1970-72 JG, we have found that the 1972 seat belt model is C14 and the shoulder belt is C24. (The present JG lists this incorrectly.) A buzzer was added to the seat belts in late December 1971 and those are model C15. Many early 1972s (probablly those built in 1971) have sholder belt C24 like the '71s.- Top

Re: 1970-72 Tech Man & Safety Belts
As Reba has stated, there does seem to be some anomaly with the early 72 seat belt and shoulder belt codes. I have photos of a half dozen early 72's, mine included, that have model numbers as Reba has indicated.
During Regional flight judging two years ago, the judges were ready to deduct points for incorrect model numbers on my early November 71 built car. I was able to show photos from a one owner car, as well as two published books, showing this same "incorrect" model number. In the end I received full points, deducting only for condition.
