    Cranking signal valve

Does anyone have a source for the thin neoprene used as a diaphragm in these valves? My eyes are burning.
    Thanks.

I spoke with John DeGregory a couple of days ago. He now has some rebuilt originals that he thinks are even better than the repos he had been selling. They are $95 exchange. His number is (724)834-5925.

A homemade CSV repair is possible, but...

I wouldn't advise it. You can cut your own CSV diaphragm out of an FI main control diaphragm. However, removing the CSV cap and re-crimping it back in place at home is going to leave scars. It's not easy to get a good seal either.

Ed has made an excellent point. Rebuilt CSV's are more reliable then the reproductions. John DeGregory sells valves rebuilt and tested by Frank Antonicelli. Frank does a beautiful job of installing a new CSV cap too.
