Can I be sure that DuPonts Riverside Red is the same code as the Roman Red?

In with the pak of paperwork that came with my '59 was a note that it was painted with Dupont '63 Corvette red. I believe that is Riverside red. If it is the same as Roman Red this is good news on a Monday morning even with more than a foot of fresh snow just outside the door. Pat G.Comment

why not let your mouse wisk you to PPG's classic automotive web site (www.autocolorlibrary.com) and look up the specific blend code????Comment

the link. The '63 Riverside Red looks like a match to my car. I did notice that the '59 Roman Red looks closer to the '63 Ember Red on the samples shown than it does to Riverside Red even though the codes are the same. Maybe it's my eyes.

Never trust a color on your computer screen to match real life. Intensity of the color on a stark white background will never be true.
Trust the experts on this board. They wouldn't steer you wrong or the rest of the crowd would eat'em for lunch...
