1967 300hp valve covers

Can anyone describe these covers. They are stamped steel. The AIM says they look like the ones on a '66 300hp. What I found was "chevrolet" script stamped covers. What is correct?

The scripted covers are correct of a 1967 300/hp.

And the ends of the valve covers are slanted back about 20 degrees from vertical; not "squared-off" and nearly vertical like the earlier script covers.

The 1966 TIN/Judging guide describes the base engine (300 HP) valve covers as, "stamped steel, painted engine orange, with the "V" -shaped depression along the longitudinal centerline except for the rectangular area upon which a label is fixed." There is no Corvette or Chevrolet script.

The post refers to 1967 300hp valve covers (not '66); the '67 covers were completely different than those used from '62-'66.

Oh. I thought Jim wanted a description of - the ones on a '66 300hp!
