C-4 under hood question

On a 1986 as you look at the firewall from the engine, between the wiper motor and power brake booster is a black plastic electrical item. About 1-1/2 inches wide, 1 inch deep and 2 inches high attached to the firewall with 2 bolts and nuts. It has an electrical connection to the bottom of it and white numbers on the top "14078915". Does any one know what it is, what it is called or the GM part #?

14078915 IS the GM part number. It is a relay associated with the early fuel evaporation purge system. The strange part is that I can find no Corvette application for this piece. Obviously, it was used on Corvettes, though.
