Original or Service 6 qt Oil pan???

I have a small mystery. I acquired a very nice 6qt pan with the trap door and have read the archives and understand how to differentiate between the two. I even purchased a 5qt pan in error and successfully identified it as the ORIGINAL type with the 2.25" real radius.

Here's my Dilemma - the seal radius on the pan in question measures 2 5/16" - right inbetween the 2 1/4" mark for the original (3820001) and the 2 3/8" mark for the service replacements (359942). This pan is in very good shape and appears to be straight and true.

CAn someone help me identify this pan?

Here's the interior and exterior of the pan FYI:
    Thanks,
    brian

Probably original. Make sure that the straight edge (level) is flat across the circumference where it meets the flats. If you are going across the flats, then that 1/16" will very easily be made up. You should be able to use the heavier front seal in your gasket set, and dry fit the pan. If you use the thinner seal, the front of your engine will leak like a sieve.
