        Thanks. It sounds like with front and back you have 7. 5 plus front & back??

            Looks like it settles out at 7 stops. I don't think the style of upholstery has anything to do with it. It seems the problem may be in making effective tests. I have had to do some seats several times to get what I think is the right number. I have found the best method is to sit in the seat. Trying to move the seat while not in the car leads me to eratic results.

            BTW: a certain NCRS official, who shall remain nameless, wanted to know what an "atops" is. I told him that any 68-72 Corvette owner would know what it is.
