I need to buy sealt belts for my 1961. Ha anyone bought from remanufactured seat belts for Corvette Central or Paragon? If so how are they? Anyone know of a good source? Thanks for the help, Joe #37862

Re Correct Seat Belts

Hi Joe,
I got correct reproduction seatbelts for my '62 from CC and they were on the dot. If you have a 1C catalog check out page 100 or try their web site.

Mine are black with polished chrome buckles, correct webbing that is about 1/4" wider than regular replacement size and labels ("Irving Chute" I think). They are expensive and took about 9 months to receive because only 1 manufacturer makes them for CC. I really like them and am happy I got 'um...Pete

Who actually makes them? (seatbelts)

I'd rather deal direct with whomever makes the webbing or does the restorations.

SSnake-oyl 1 800 284 7777 Web site www.ssnake-oyl.com. It took me a while to find the outfit I used in the driveline but I got my duntov'd 59 seat belts from Seatbelt Sity in NJ. 908 719 2354. Highly recommend. I used ssnake oyl for my 70 but it isn't a judged car.
