    Tach and Speedometer Faces

    Hello All,
I was looking through the NCRS archives for tips on cleaning up or replacing the faces on Tachometers and Speedometers. If you're a do-it yourselfer, how difficult is it to remove the needle and the face, clean up, touch up, etc. Does the needle come off easily. I am completing a body off on a 67 and am getting close to putting the cluster back in. I've painted the outside surround and it looks great and now the faces don't look bright. If you've got a minute could you let me know some of the tricks for doing this myself.
    Thanks,
    John McRae

Needles come off very easily--just turn backwards (counter clockwise)--do it carefully and gently.
