    59 tach cable

    does the tach cable come out of the fire wall above and towards the right of the heater box by and under the hood lip

      Yes, There should be a hole in the upper right corner, about 1" in dia, or maybe just a tad smaller.

          A robber grommet is also used to fill the hole around the tach cable.
