    66 blackout on latches

    Hi all,

I checked the archives and the JG, but could someone share their thoughts about how much blackout over spray would be on the female/male hood latches on an A.O. body? Would it possible for the female latches to be almost completely hit with blackout?

    Regards,
    Rob

Ya`ll correct me if I`m wrong, but I think AOS had a different proceedure and the latches were not blacked.

          Rob:

Paraphrasing from my 1965 TIM&JG: generally, AO Smith cars show less overspray on the latches and latch cable than StLouis cars. There may be some examples showing no overspray.
