CI HEATER MOTOR

I am trying to take the cage off my heater motor. I took the locking washer off the shaft. Is the cage pressed on? The wire coming out of the motor is cut right at the motor. I need to take it apart in order to fix it. Is the cage cad plated? Thanks for the help, Joe

The cage is is not pressed on , just stuck on . You could heat it some then pull it off. Or holding the cage , tape the heater shaft useing a plastic hammer.
