    Where is a good place to have my radio restored to new condition, and about what will it set me back?

      I used Dr. Don's (www.doctordons.com)out of Texas. Restored all,works great, quick turnaround. $150 plus ins.

          I've had two radios ('61&'65) restored by:

          As I recall - it has been several years - Charlie charges a flat fee of $450 plus shipping and insurance. A bit pricey but you get back a radio that performs as new with a three year written guarantee. Worth every $ in my opinion.
