Dunno about '69, but 67's had a plug (3738198) installed from the inside that was to be removed when A85 was specified. Should show in the UPC 1 Bolt/Weld underbody reinforcements sheets in your A.I.M.

Thanks , did not know 67 had shoulder belts ? when you say inside you mean interior , not wheel housing?

        Yup, installed from inside-to-outside.

          Kelly,
The body of my late production '69 is not here for me to look at, but if I recall correctly, there is a PLASTIC, gold colored, round head, large screw installed where the bolt would go if you opted for the shoulderbelt option.

Yep, you're right, John. For 70, the plug is shown on UPC 1, Sheet B2, part number 3930651.

Fat chance Kelly will ever find them NOS or otherwise; it was probably a production only item. I believe I would cut off some bolts to the hole depth or slightly less, and paint the ends the appropriate color. Doubtful that it will ever matter anyway...I think it is impossible to see them from under the car, and the carpet covers the bolt head.
