the judging manual says that the engine assembly date stamp would precede the theoretical car build date by 10 days to 2 weeks my car is # 150 so that would put the assembly date around sept 11 to 13 1958 the casting date on the block is I48 sept 4, 1958 the stamp pad reads F909 DJ since this is a very early car would the assembly date of the engine and car be considered correct it was assembled before 10 days of the car or is the 10 days somewhat of a guide
