I am looking for a trailer that can be towed by a mid year. I have seen motorcycle sized ones for sale, but have not seen larger units. Any body have any experience with trailers and/or know of a source?

Re: Corvette Trailers
For the road tour to Bend, Or. in '89, i build a trailer to tow behind our 67 400hp. coupe , from maryland to Bend( see restorer of the era for pic of the rig) . anyway, i got a 65 or so olds toronado rear axle(they're front wheel drive in the event you're not into you father's oldmobile). had a pair of leaf springs off a snowmobile trailer. welded up a frame and bolted an antique Coke Cooler to the beast(and it did transport the Beast and coke to bend and back without any problems.I'd estimate the trailer weighed about 300 lbs empty and close to 500 with beverages and tools, and parts and who knows what the kids tossed on the trailer.Hope that helps. mike- Top

Re: Corvette Trailers
I've towed many different type trailers with my 67 coup 350 hp 4 speed. Any thing under 500lb can be found at Wall-Mart and others. Depends on what your using it for. I pulled a bike trailer for selling Corvette parts. But now pull a 1947 tear drop trailer with my 67 or 55 when taking my WIFE. Need I say more
