My spalsh shields on my 61 are kind of dented and bent. I don't know if I should have the body shop who is going to paint my car attempt to repair them or I should just replace them. Paragon has "far superior reproduction splash shields, precisely cut to GM drwaing, 20 gauge steel". Any help would be greatly appreciated. My car is going to be painted in March and should be done by the summer. So hopefully my not so bright questions will be ending soon! Thanks as always, Joe.

Joe...
Two things to watch out for on replacement splash shields, (1) they may not have the hole cutouts to mount the vacuum tank, be sure to keep the original ones for a pattern. (2) The holes across from the frame mounting holes, may not line up with your body bottom strip holes. This can be corrected.Just check first before you bolt everything down.- Top
