                remember the florida saying is

"sunny florida" not "warm florida" i have been there in feb and the wind chill was 19 degrees but it was sunny. i have been at disney and the temp was 29 degrees so do not just take shorts.

                  The Sunshine State -

                  Clem,
don't tell them that. Eric gets to sell a lot of NCRS sweatshirts just because people come to Florida with t-shirts and shorts, and find frost on the windshield after they get here.

Just remember, Frostproof is a long way south of Orlando.

                    Re: Orlando

I'll be there on Friday, holding a buddy's hand who's having his car judged for the first time, and doing a photo shoot for my magazine with Al Knoch; at this point, any temperature above zero will be considered a heat wave

                        Mike -

"Corvette Enthusiast" magazine - I'm the "Vintage Technical Editor". The jury is still out on whether the "Vintage" part of the title refers to me or to the cars I write about

                            Re: Orlando

A friend gave me a couple of copies of Corvette Enthusiast, When I saw Mr. Hinkley's name and read his work I felt an almost personal connection to the magizine just from my daily readings of this forum. I really appreciate those of you who know so much and are willing to share that knowledge and also the casual banter and old stories that break out here every now and then. Thanks to you John, and to the rest of you.

                            Regards,
                            Steve Pettit

John: The "Vintage" has to refer to the cars, for you surely are a "Classic" Len
