My Carter AFB is a rebuild and not original for my 327/300 . The carb number is : K9 3721(S?) The K9 has me confused. Is this a date code: October 1969. I don't see any listing for an AFB 3721 used in 1969. What could this carb be off of ?? ...Thanks..Ed

Re: AFB ?
Hmmm... I went back out to the garage and looked again at my 65. On the same line is ...K9 3721 followed by two letters ... possibly S F or S 1 . Clem mentioned a replacement carb made in 69. That may be it. The mismatched carb is the only part of my drivetrain that is not original. I should be able to find one on Ebay if I'm patient. Thanks again...Ed- Top

Re: AFB ?
Seems in many parts books (GM Book also)the 3720 and 3721 was the common replacement part for 62-65 327,In 1979 I order a 3269 for my 62 and a 3721 was sent out from Napa,I sent it back and they ordered me one in 3269s h1 for $300,great for 20 years then it needed a good rebuild and the guy rebuilding it says this is a 57 buick carb they just restamped the front.
Thats why theirs lots of them on ebay and their always labeled RARE- Top
