    c1 gauges

If all your gauges work and are accurate, is it worth your while to replace bezels and lens yourself? If so what is the best method of disassembly and getting them crimped back together? Thanks as always for any help. Still looking for reasonable priced dash housing for 62.

If you have the dash out, it's about a 30-45 minuet job to replace the lenses and bezels. Just undo the crimps with some needle nose and recrimp the same way. Hardest thing is being sure everything remains squeaky clean during reassembly. That green paint likes to flake.

Thanks Ed, Already see evidence of flaking, is this something that needs repainted or justed cleanes and left alone? Doesn't seem to be visable when they are installed in car.

I have done a few sets of these and have so far gotten away with a good cleaning.
