'61 fuel line inlet fitting to pump

I recently bought a 45-degree inlet fitting for my fuel pump that I thought was correct because the vendor's catalog said so. Subsequent to my purchase I read in the JG section 9 that the "Inlet fitting is a large hexagonal, not square 45-degree brass elbow fitting.." I know the above sequence should have been reversed but I need to know if anyone has a source for the large hexagonal fitting? I find it a little strange that Corvette Central, ZIP and Paragon (I think) all list the square 45-degree brass elbow fitting as correct. Am I missing something here or am I just shopping on the wrong page??

Original definitly hexagonal, not square. Tom Maxwell ads in driveline has them . believe tom's driveline ads usually pertain to windshield wiper repairs. mike
