59 cylinder heads

looking at my heads today noticed something i need to clear up my car was built early to mid sept 1958 the casting #'s on the heads are 3755550 which are correct. the casting dates are G248 july 24 1958 and G78 july 7 1958 also appears correct for that car. but the G78 head has an x 58 cast into the side of it the judging manual says the x58 was on 58 770 heads and early 59 was that early 59 550 heads or were the 770 castings placed on early 59 cars just wanna know if what i have sounds correct thats all
