'67 BB R HAND VALVE COVER SPARK PLUG GUIDE

Most '67 big block right hand valve covers have the 2 place plug wire support located close to the oil fill cap. I've seen a few (ebay item#2456166662) that have it in line with the PCV hose opening. I was wondering if both these positions are considered correct.

Rob, there is a similar situation with '66 big block valve covers - for '66, Corvette valve covers have the plug wire holder near the oil cap. The ones that have the holder in line with the hose elbow opening are said to be valve covers from full size Chevrolet passenger cars (and/or possibly Chevelles) - non Corvette at any rate. I am guessing the same is true for '67.

What a coincidence, a '67 435HP (L89) just sold for almost $200,000 at the auction, and had the plug wire guide on the R valve cover even with the PCV valve outlet as we were discussing.

Do not know the correct location of the guide for a L89, BUT the L89 does have different (chrome plated) valve covers than the iron head 435
