Need help with search

I'm having trouble using the search for my past posts. All I can get is from the past month and I've tried to change the search window back a year but I can still only get this past month. Has anyone else had this happen or am I doing something wrong?

The year is not adjustable at this time... I don't know why.

But, I used 365 as a day number and got more than one month.

Just click Archives and choose one of four and input your name. All of your posts in that range should come up.

Well guys I tried both methods and all I get is the past month...any other thoughts?

If I click Archives and select January 16, 2003 to present and type in Linton, I get 47 posts, all yours.

If you are searching the current tech board you will only find posts that date back to January 8th. There are only about 2400 messages kept on this board. The oldest of the 2400 are Archived each night. This is to keep the board running as fast as possible.

The archives at https://www.ncrs.org/forum/archive.html are broken down now into four separate search areas of 30,000 to 40,000 messages each. This is about the largest number of messages the server can search without timing out your connection. (Your browser will only wait so long.)

When you search through these four sections of the archives you will be searching over 120,000 messages.

There is a great deal of knowledge stored in these messages. It will be nice when we have the resources to combine them into one giant search, but for now this is about the best that we can do.

Thanks again guys but still no luck. Larry I tried what you said but as soon as I click on search I get a hour glass by my cursor for a split second and then nothing happens...maybe I have a issue with my computer or something.
