67 Conv. Deck Latch

I've got overspray on my rear deck latches,latch handle and cable. Is this correct? I also have overspray on the body wedges and the striker on one side and natural on the other side. Could I get some advice on what is correct ? I'm in central Indiana with 2" of snow now and maybe 3-5 more coming....I need a project soon !!

The overspray is normal. There are a few rear decks as well as the hardware on ebay for sale. Take a peek at them to view the overspray.

Thanks, Harry.I can understand the overspray on the latches, etc. but my strikers are painted (body color). This isn't correct is it ? Thanks again.

I just went out to my 5 degree garage, wow it's cold in NH. My strikers do have overspray. Somewhere in the past the car was repainted. The overspray may or may not be from the initial painting. Maybe others will assist.
