Boy, did I get some bad info or I misunderstood...$900 must have been for all eight holes.

          Re: Radiator condition?

          Jerry
The radiator is a Dewitts I purchased it new last summer. The fan and clutch are correct for a 63. I had the clutch rebuilt last summer. I have an old temp sender which is accurate when checked against a infared tester. I did find an air pocket in the upper hose above the thermostat. I believe that caused some of the problem. I believe I have corrected that. The water pump is 2 years old and seems to work properly. All hoses and belts have been replaced.
When I attended a car show last summer the outside temp was 90 degrees. My engine reached a temp of 240 degrees. I little too hot for my liking. I did not blow out any antifreeze though.
This summer I'll see if the air pocket was the problem. If you have any suggestions I would welcome the advice.

                Bob -

With a couple of exceptions, you've done all I can think of to cure the problem. I've dealt with the following head-scratchers that you may want to consider if your car gets hot this summer.

I haven't had much long term luck with rebuilt fan clutches. Yes, they're "correct" and pretty, but they don't work and last like a new GM fan clutch. (For $150 each, the new GM version better work right.) The same goes for rebuilt water pumps. I won't use them. I buy new Stewart pumps. I drill a small hole in all the thermostats I install to aid air removal. And lastly, I've got one I know you don't want to hear. Sometimes I've had to manually clean out the rust scale and hard deposits clogging the lower water passages in blocks that have spent a long time sitting. This is even after a week of machine shop tanking to clean a bare block.

If you are not losing water, you should be ok. I would do an accurate temp test with a good infared tester. BTW, I can ship you plenty of snow, you just pay the freight. And gonna git more tommorrow.
