59 fuel lines

just rebuilt my fuel pump on my 59 245hp 2 4barrel forgot to mark where the fuel lines go. i believe if the pump is on the engine and looking down at the pump the inlet was at 6 o'clock and the outlet at 9 o'clock can someone confirm this please

Bob, without going and looking, that sounds about right. The outlet is definately toward the rear of the car and the fuel pump to carb line passes over the pump.

Addendum

The position you describe may be one screw hole off. The outlet is closer to 8:00 than to 9:00.
