    66 wheel covers

    At a chapter judging meet, I was dinged for having the wrong "grey" color panels on the wheel covers. I couldn't see a huge difference in mine and the others that were there, but I'm wondering if anyone has a source for the "correct" grey. Thanks

      John, I used the hubcap paint I got from CC that is for 65-67, part number 642175. I am not sure what the judges are looing for but it looked good to me

              I re-did my wheel covers on my '66 a few years ago. Bought paint , I believe from LI and have gone thru flight judging. Had no problem. I just checked the can and it was Seymour # MB-40 Hope this helps.
