J-56 KH Brake Proportioning Valve Help

I have a 1966 or so Kelsey Hayes J-56 Corvette brake proportioning valve that I want to install but it needs a kit. Where do I get a kit?

Where do I find a cut-a-way picture on the break down of the parts so I can make sure all the parts are there and in the right order or place?

After the kit is installed in the valve and on the car how is it adjusted? Where do you start adjusting, with the screw all the way in, all the way out or someplace in the middle. Is the valve half a turn sensitive or what?

Supposedly, Long Island Corvette has kits for these valves. I couldn't find one in their catalog, but they might have them. Other than that, the only possible source that I could suggest is Mustang suppliers. I'm told that many Mustangs of the 60's used a Kelsey-Hayes proportioning valve similar or identical to the Corvette valve. So, perahps Mustang parts suppliers have the parts.

I don't know of a source for rebuild information.
