Can any one tell me if there are previous postings about making window adjustments on a C1? MY windows are very tight in the channels and a struggle to roll up or down. I'm afraid of breaking something.(or are convertible windows always down?) Thanks

Re: C 1 Window adjustments
if the windows rool up and down(with door open) with much resistance, it's probably due to the reproduction channel liners which are a tad too tight when compared to originals. i know of no source of liners/chanels/ fuzzies which are loose enough to allow for effortless placement of the windows. i simply live with the crapy ropros and each of our c-1's with windows(read cabriolet, not roadster in strict sense of the words) has a can of teflon aerosol in the glove box and i spray them every month or so.PV necessity. mike- Top

Re: C 1 Window adjustments
RON I HAD SAME PROBLEM WTH MY 57 NEW GLASS..I HAD TO REMOVE THE REAR CHANNEL FROM THE DOOR LEAVING GLASS IN PLACE..I USED MY SMALL PRY BAR AND CAREFULLY PRYED THE CHANNEL TOP TO BOTTOM ..I RAN THE CHANNEL OVER THE TOP OF THE WINDOW TO MEASURE THE OPENING..AFTER SEVERAL TRYS IT WENT EASY..I RE INSTALLED THE CHANNEL AND IT WENT SMOOTH I DID BOTH SIDES SAME WAY..SILICON DID NOT DO IT
BUT I DID SPRAY SOME ON FINISHED CHANNEL TO HELP WHILE YOU HAVE THE DOOR APART
I WUD SPRAY WD 40 ON THE WINDOW SPRING AND I USED WHITE LITHIUM GREASE IN A SPRAY CAN ON EVERYTHING IN THE DOOR I HOPE I DID THE RITE THING ..GOOD LUCK- Top
