    C3 Rear end Housing Wear

I've got a C3 housing where one of the yolk bores has suffered minor galling/elongation from presumably a runaway yolk end.
There is some noticeable marking on the casting bore, yet the bearing still presses in tight. Are there any wear limitations in these bores to allow continued service or should I junk it?
    Any experiences welcomed.
    Thx

I really dont understand exactly what you are asking. If the bore of the housing where the bearings go are out of round, then its probably junk, but, I doubt thats what you are seeing. If it just has damage from scraping of the dust flange, where the outer seal goes, then as long as the seal will fit snuggly and not leak, there is no real damage to the workings of the rear end.
