    Finish on Rear Cam Adjuster

I'm hoping some of the "gurus" can help to clear up another point of controversy. Does anyone know what finish the rear camber adjusters should be for the midyears? I know the 67 tech manual says black phosphate, but I've been told that the book is wrong. Anyone have any experience in this arena? Cant wait until Joe Lucia is back. Somebody tell him he's not allowed to take any more vacations for the next 2 years (I should be done w the resto by then).

    Thanks! Brandon

I believe the nuts were blackened, but the ones I've personally pulled off cars showed signs of cad or tin plating on the cam & bolt assy.
