63 valance panel

what is the difference between a 63 and other mid year valance panels? How does the 63 rear valance panel mount? We need one and are getting to do a 63 split window in the fall. Thanks Dean

The 63 rear valance panel is unique. On both sides, the mounting flange is flush with the edge of the panel. 1964 and up have the mounting flange stepped in about 1 1/2 inches from the edge. I've never tried to modify one to fit. Maybe others can elaborate. Chuck
