Re: EBAY ad for new muffler bearings. Only up to$7
I was going to buy it; I was going to use it on the muffler on my skyhook. The pipe on my muffler isn't long enough. Doesn't anyone know where I can get a pipe stretcher? I am not sure but I thing I may need a left-handed monkey wrench for the pipe stretcher.
PS I just looked at the ad again and noticed that someone with no sense of humor complained about the ad- Top

Re: Now up to $99,999,999.00 .....
Tracy------
My thoughts, exactly. The seller may consider that this auction is for "entertainment value" and not expect the buyer to actually come across with payment. However, eBay will expect the seller to come across with the auction fees based upon the "sold" price. They might even enforce it in order to discourage the practice in the future. They're not in business to conduct "joke" auctions. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: Now up to $99,999,999.00 .....
Tracy: I went to Ebay and typed in the auction number and when the ad came up it said that the auction had ended and there were no bids, so I don't think Ebay can do anything more than charge him the listing fee financially. They could bar him from future postings however. IMHO Len- Top
