I use Red Line Synthetic 80W-90 gear lube (non race type ONLY) or Mobil 1 80W-90 Synthetic gear lube. Either of these two products is what I plan to fill my brand new, assembled-from-all-NOS-original-GM-parts, M-22 when I install it behind my "ZL-1". Given the value and rarity of something like that, I think that it underscores my confidence in these products better than anything else I could say.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: trans lube
Jim; the tork lock sliders are the outside of the scrynizer, this is the part that goes into the gear. The teeth on the tork sliders are backcut so when it is in gear it tries to pull the gear in, I had a problem with 2nd gear jumping out when i let off the gas. It looks like a nice setup, I can"t weight to try it out, almost every 4-speed i ever had did this.- Top
