Ce 1970 Wipers Won't Work

The fuse is good, the wiper deck is in the up position but the wipers won't work. Pulled the three wire plug that plugs into the wipers, with the key on and the wiper switch on, the blue wire and the yellow wire are hot but the green one is not. It is grounded because I used the metal motor housing as my ground for the test, Does this mean that my wiper motor is bad?

Was working on my wiper motor today, see below (mine's a 68).

Me and my friend (who has the shop where we're doing the work) hot wired the motor to make it run, I have some problems with either the harness, (switch tested OK), or the myriad of overides for the system, or the relay (which is mounted under the console plate). I need to check the relay, and saw that this part is available from Dr. Rebuild, as is the motor for quite a bit of cash. I was hoping to find a lower cost generic auto supplier replacement for the motor, but Joe said that this may be available, but of poor quality.

If you have the wiring diagram, you can probably jump the motor to see if that works, and then if it does, begin to check your switches and relay, etc.

Have you checked to see if the wiper over ride switch, located under steering column, is in the on position?
