Now help available on the C1 Registry

    Hi,

I've added a help page to the C1 Registry since a lot of questions have been sent to me since the day the registry opened. Also I've included a menu-option to send you your password if forgotten (it happens to me now and then).

Also one '60-er and two '62-ers are entered for sale (so if you are looking for an additional C1-er...)

We now have 65 registries within less than a month!

    greetings,
    Rob Musquetier.

    Dealer sales adds?

Rob, I thought the C1 Registry was for owners. Both of the '62 listed for sale are shown by dealers, listed as the owners. I guess it's part of the history of a car as it passes through a dealer's hands. Maybe the new owner will update the register. By the way do you plan to try to keep a history of each car by vin as it changes owner's hands?

A constructive critique: Something other than "pink" as the main color theme would go a long way to improving the visual aspects of the site.

      Re: Dealer sales adds?

      Hi Clare,

The thought behind the registry is that it delivers an inside in the still available C1 Corvette's and provide all car lovers a tool to contact Corvette's with specific features (e.g. colour combinations, (non-)dealer options, VIN ranges, etc.). Also I hope people are willing to keep there names mentioned when they become previous owners to help current owners to trace back their car history.

So previous owners are also more than welcome to register their previous Corvette and state the status of their car (e.g. that is was wrecked, taken apart or sold).

The service of mentioning cars for sale (both by commercial and non-commercial parties) is build in to encourage seller to register to give more inside in the cars history helping future owners to trace back previous owners. Also it helps latent future owners to select their new hobby object (like numerous excellent sites have done for me)!

Please notice that all this work is done without the meaning of making a profit (it is all done in precious evening and weekend time) but donations of commercial sellers are more than welcome to cover the hosting costs!

About the pink, I would like to know the reaction of more users on this but if it proves to be not suited I'm more than willing to change it to another colour!

Greetings and thanks for your feedback,
      Rob Musquetier
