Tires were a matched car set - the spare was originally the same tire and wheel as the four on the ground. However, for judging, the spare is judged separately, and that tire need not match the four on the ground.

There is a guy living a few miles from me that is the original owner of a yellow 55 and his spare is BLACK , never been out of the trunk and said it's original and came with his Corvette. ????
