I have two rear script emblems, both appear to be original with part number:3873776. However, one has threads on the prongs and one does not. Anyone know which is correct and why the difference? Could it be one is for the FRONT of a 66 as the emblems were the same for the 66 and 67? Thanks as always, Rick.

Re: 67 Coupe rear script
Rick, The mounting posts on the script are plain when new. The nuts cut the treads as they are applied the first time. The one with no treads has never been installed.

Re: 67 Coupe rear script
Rick,
I know John already knows this too, but the threads are "cut" by speed nuts. If the "threads" your talking about look like they are "machined" then someone has altered the piece. Just more info. Tom #24014- Top
