This is my small attempt to say "thanks!" to Joe Lucia for all the valuable information that he contributes to this site. He posted a reply in a thread regarding bellhousing cover configuration in this previous thread:
His description of the noise that is encountered when the cover comes in contact with the crankshaft flange really helped me out. I removed the cover on my recently reinstalled bellhousing and I found evidence that the cover was indeed rubbing against the crank flange. I had gotten extremely discouraged when I discovered this new noise after spending so much time restoring the drivetrain of the car. Had I not seen Joe's post, I would have spent much more time chasing down the noise and no doubt becoming more frustrated by the minute.
Thanks Joe!
